Forges of Karak Azgal
The Dwarven Lord’s policy of open plunder in the ruins has drawn the rabble from all over the Old World. Through the years a sordid shanty – town by the name of Deadgate arose; the ramshackle collection of wooden buildings huddle at the foot of the mountain, and it is now a large – sprawling settlement outside of Skalf’s Hold and the ruins of Karak Azgal. There are no towers or walls to protect the settlement, just a winding cobblestone street lined with taverns and other destinations of ill – repute. It is the home of gamblers, thrill – seekers, brawlers and thieves; Deadgate is both dangerous and exhilarating.
